Scott Blasingame, MAI, is a Senior Vice President of AltaView and is located in the firm’s San Francisco office. He is a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser with nearly a decade of experience providing real estate valuation and consulting services throughout California and the United States for a variety of purposes. Mr. Blasingame’s consulting services include tax planning and compliance, transaction due diligence, litigation support, financial analysis, and services in support of corporate turnaround and restructuring.

 

Mr. Blasingame has led numerous engagements pertaining to real estate projects on behalf of pension funds and their advisors, corporations, financial institutions, real estate investment trusts, and insurance companies on a variety of property types, including large ranches, manufactured home communities, hotels, life science and traditional office buildings, industrial/warehouses, special purpose properties, land of all types, and multi-family residential properties. He has provided valuation and consulting services to clients on matters including acquisitions, financing, loan review, leasing, litigation, portfolio updates, and disposition/divestments.

 

Since 2019, Mr. Blasingame has served on the Board of Directors of the Mare Island Historic Park Foundation in Vallejo, CA. The Foundation’s mission includes the collection, preservation, and interpretation of the history of Mare Island Naval Shipyard while caring for four historic buildings in Mare Island’s National Historic Landmark District.

 

Prior to Joining AltaView, Scott was a manager at a national consulting firm where he helped lead the real estate practice. He also served in senior positions at BDO, LLC and Kidder Matthews.
